The caravan is privately owned and is sited in an exclusive new for 2010 development positioned overlooking the match play and specimen lake at the Haven Holiday Park in Burnham on Sea, Somerset, which is a beautiful relaxed venue.

The quaint old fashioned charm of this sea-side town and pier help you to unwind and relax in stark contrast to the many busy towns and cities of today. Burnham-On-Sea boast a fantastic coastline to explore and is ideally located for touring the surrounding southwest coastline you can also visit the local area's that are all within easy reach such as Cheddar Gorge, Weston-Super-Mare,Dunster Castle, Longleat, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor and Clarke's Village, and the numerous other attractions of the historic cities of Bath, Bristol and Exeter all of which are in easy reach for a day visit. Exmoor and Dartmoor are both within 2hrs drive by car. Locally in the district of Highbridge (a sub-district of Burnham) there is a Golf Driving Range and Speedway track with meetings held on Friday evenings during the season, both of which are 5 minutes drive from the camp. A car boot sale runs on Sunday mornings also five minutes drive from the camp or just 20 minutes drive up the road to Cheddar you will find one of the largest boot sales in the South West also on a Sunday. A very nice Cider Farm again just 5 minutes down the road from the camp is an interesting visit and serves excellent Sunday lunch and homemade food.

Fishing

The fishing lake area is beautifully landscaped with a nature reserve and lovely lakeside walks. There are 3 fishing lakes on the park. A match play lake holding Roach,Tench,Carp,Perch,Eels,Bream and Flounder.Bream go up to 12lb,Carp over 20lb and Eels to 9lb. The specimen lake holds Roach,Tench,Perch,Rudd,Eels, Bream and Pike. The biggest Carp caught to-date from the specimen lake is 32lb 6oz.Mirror Carp and Pike have been caught up to 20lb.

The smaller tuition lake holds Roach,Rudd,Eels,Bream,Skimmer Bream and a few Goldfish.This lake is suitable for children and novice anglers. Tuition and coaching lessons are held twice a week where bait and tackle is provided on the day. All equipment is available for hire and night fishing is allowed. Bait and Tackle can also be purchased on the park from a Tackle Shack at the lakes or from the general shop on the main complex.

ABI Westwood beautifully furnished Luxury Holiday Home measuring a whopping 40ft x 13ft. Front double patio doors leading to 8ft wide veranda balcony, side sliding door leading to 4ft wide veranda running down side of caravan, both giving stunning, uninterrupted lake views on this lakeside front row premium exclusive 2010 development.

2 Bedrooms (1 master 1 twin bedded) as well as pull-out double sofa bed in lounge if required. Master bedroom has bay window, dressing table, impressive walk-in-wardrobe and television point.

Fully fitted kitchen with double eye-level twin cavity oven, stainless steal hob extractor, washing machine,separate fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Textured worktops, plenty of storage cupboards, built-in wine racks, spice racks etc and a dining area with extendable table with views out to the lake from sliding glass door.

Luxury bathroom with wc, bath and separate shower cubicle. Additional door from master bedroom direct to bathroom for use as en-suite. Extractor fan and good standard heated towel rail.

Ample space in beautifully colour co-ordinated lounge with range of interior fittings including fabric pelmets, independent 3 piece suite, gas fire with matching surround, flat screen TV/DVD player. Lounge doors to separate from kitchen/diner.

Central heating and double glazing throughout. Own car parking space directly outside the caravan.

Duvets and pillows are provided however you will need to bring your own linen and towels or you can hire it from Haven holidays. There is a Launderette is on site.

Fantastic for fishing, peace and tranquillity and getting away from it all in total relaxation at this wonderful location. Ideally suited to adult couples for fishing/ exploration of this beautiful area of the country.

On site there is a choice of places to eat, The Mash & Barrel Restaurant where you can play bingo, darts and pool, or view Sky Sports or enjoy the entertainment programme that runs during evenings, new for this year Papa Johns Pizza House who will also be delivering to caravans by smart car if required.

Family entertainment is non stop including kids club every day, daytime family stage shows/ events & games along with live band entertainment and cabaret running all through the season.

Just 5 minutes walk out of the camp takes you straight up to the promenade and beach of Burnham.

The town centre shops including a superstore, Morrison's, J D Wetherspoons, Cinema and a variety of cafes & restaurants & pubs all of which are a three minute walk from the park, or there is a Shop on site that stocks a wide variety of all the basics you may need while on holiday.
